High-Level Cleaning – Who needs it?

High-Level Cleaning? Let Us Make It Easy for You. Looking around your workspace, are there areas which get neglected?

Just like in our homes – where it’s often tops of wardrobes and kitchen cupboards, or ceiling corners above the stairs – many of the spots we don’t clean are missed because they’re out of reach.

High Level Cleaning might be complicated, dangerous, or simply forgotten, but these areas don’t have to be neglected.

High-Level Cleaning Services – Simply

Often, these out-of-reach spaces don’t need to be cleaned very often – nobody will see them up close after all, but whether it’s for appearance, hygiene, or safety it’s important to make sure these areas aren’t forgotten.

Dust in these areas can cause problems for those with breathing difficulties and you might find these become areas where bacteria thrive.

So, what kind of spaces need high-level cleaning?

  • High ceilings in Factories
  • Commercial buildings
  • Warehouses
  • Large retail establishments
  • Schools
  • Churches
  • Event halls
  • Communal areas
  • High stairwells
  • pipes and fixtures

Whether internally or externally, you need the right equipment to clean these spaces which means doing such a clean yourself often isn’t possible, particularly if you don’t have staff qualified to work in these dangerous positions.

But maybe the idea of having to hire scaffolding or specialist equipment is off-putting for something which doesn’t seem that important. You may want to get someone else to help.

How do you know when high-level cleaning is needed?

Probably your first consideration will be whether a clean is needed or how often; this will depend on several factors in your business.

  • Internally – Who uses the space and what for? How many people are regularly in there? Do you have machines which are creating discharge of any kind? By looking up as you walk around your space you can appraise visible surfaces – lights, fans, sprinklers and alarms, signs, displays and vents. If you can see dust, it is probably time for a clean.
  • Externally – What is the environment like? Consider pollution and the impact on your windows and brickwork as well as whatever might have dropped from trees or birds. Again, review your space paying proper attention to spaces you might not normally look at – guttering, roofs, lintels, and signs (including standalone signage).

If you’re not sure, talk to an expert; consider the last time such a clean was done as well as the evidence you’re seeing. We at WPCS will be happy to talk this through with you.
